I, Zombie
« on: March 18, 2015, 01:50:35 PM »
So, this is a new show on the CW and I watched the Pilot last night.

I was quite pleasantly surprised. If the show can keep the light-hearted tone and overall sense of fun, this is going to be a highlight show of the week for me.

Premise:
Brilliant young doctor goes to a party which happens to be ground zero for a zombie attack. She "survives" but becomes a zombie. Later, she discovers that when she eats someones brain, she can get glimpses of their life and even temporarily gain skills of the person. Enter a homicide detective, fresh on the force, looking for his first collar.

I just finished watching this, and like you I was pleasantly surprised. It was fun and highly entertaining. They made a good choice for the lead actress. CW continues to get better as a channel.

I agree with the above.

But I am biased by anything with a sympathetic undead protagonist.

Anyone else watch the season finale last night?

I swear, I wanted to reach through the TV and smack Liv no less than 3 times. She grabbed the idiot ball and started doing laps!

I liked it for the most part. A decent end to the first season of Tru Calling with zombies.
